People ask me why I like k-pop and at first I think about telling them, but then I remember that I don’t have to justify myself in my choices and if you don’t understand why someone would like k-pop then maybe we should be asking you why in the world you wouldn’t like it!

Word of the week

Drum roll everyone.....the word of the week is 감사합니다 (kam-sa-hap-ni-da except it's said rather quickly and the h does weird things so the middle sounds more like sa-m). It means thank you. This word is inspired by all of you guys because I want to say thank you to everyone who follows foreignseoul and everyone who likes us or in any way shape or form supports us. You guys are the real winners and you're all super awesome. Having you all as friends on this beautiful site is beautiful. You're all one in a million. So 감사합니다 (and let's add an earlier word to that) 친구! Thanks friend!

Why I Love K-Pop

Oh where does one start...there are so many reasons why I love k-pop.  With Red Velvet’s comeback yesterday and Got7′s comeback coming up as well as many others I guess one of the first reasons that comes to mind is the periodic excitement throughout the year when your favorite bands start doing things after a long break.  It’s like having mini Christmas multiple times throughout the year.  The v app videos, the video teaser, the photos released online prior to their comeback, it’s all a huge event for fans, as it should be.  As the years go on I gain more and more responsibility and with that each comeback becomes more exciting.  K-pop gives fans something to look forward to and something to get excited about and that is beautiful.  I live for comebacks...they’re fun and when something is fun why shouldn't you love it?  Do I really need to justify why I love k-pop when the smile on my face as I watch a video or talk to another fan about a group says it all?  No, I don’t have to justify it.  But let’s face it, even if I don’t have to (because it’s so obvious why it’s awesome), I will continue to do so because I love it and want to talk about it all the time and share it with everyone I know.  It’s because of my love for it that I will probably continue to post more of these on my blog because I can talk about why I love k-pop all day.  So why do you love k-pop?

Hi! This is ForeignSeoul, a group of friends who love kpop and want to promote it from wherever we are. We think that the world would be a much more wonderful place is kpop was not misjudged and underestimated so quickly; really all we want is for our babies in the idol world to have all the love *-*

Up to now, ForeignSeoul is a small group of 3 (I’m Tae!) and we want to explore all the goodies that South Korea has to offer us and show other people how beautiful of a culture kpop itself is. Please help us! Let’s introduce our friends, families and even strangers into this awesome music genre that is Korean pop.
