A thing I noticed—

Tsuyu’s favourite dango are a specific kind. They’re the three-coloured Hanami Dango. Pink, white, green.

The symbolism of cherry blossoms is pretty clear, and Square totally made that a thing on purpose. There are other three-coloured dango, Botchan Dango (these are red bean, egg yolk, and green tea flavoured)—but Tsuyu’s are SPECIFICALLY that characteristic pink-white-green.

Tsuyu’s best snack food ever is foreshadowing made of mochi flour. Joy is as ephemeral as spring flowers. Especially when your family is a garbage fire.
