Red Fox from Forest Island
Underrated Games For Alterhumans
Animal Jam - this is more social and casual, and it's hard to get your theriotype, but after some good years I've been able to get a good few of my types and customise them! I've found a good few therians on that game. Mostly animal and mythical animal oriented. (Multiplayer, play as animal)
Forest Island - This one is really relaxing, and has some good spots where you can just... listen to nature. You can spawn your theriotype if it's in the game, and you can take little pictures. I also like its style in making the creatures. Very relaxing. Only animal oriented. (Single player, watch animals)
Hatch Dragons - This one is really nice! Like Forest Island, it's super satisfying to watch the creatures and hear the nature-y sound effects. I like it a lot, even as a regular alterhuman. The art is amazing and it's time consuming, sure, but very fun to see all the dragon types! Dragon/otherkin/fictionkin oriented I'd say. (Single player, watch creatures)
That's all I have right now, will prolly make update posts!
Rabbits from Forest Island
Feel proud of myself for quitting the addictive completionist thing with one of my favourite mobile games. Also, with how it needs spending money on it to do that.
Forest island is a mobile game with low poly animal collecting and stress relief with nature. They have an album feature with all the animals present in the game.
Some animals are exclusively paid for, yet don't really add much difference to the game. If at all. I used to buy these other creatures, even if they were just a reskin, to complete the collection album.
This is fine if it's cheap and you actually want and like the animal. But I was doing this with creatures that I could not care less about, just for completion.
Sadly, I have spent multiple £s over the years on the game for stuff I dont care for. Few I do like though. Even spending £50 one time for a virtual angora rabbit. Despite that being the cost of a real rabbit. This was before I was out of work, I'm not wasting that much on a game anymore. But still.
I finally realised how stupid this is when they released a website to buy certain exclusives and earn points. These points would add up and be able to be used to get other exclusives only available with points.
When adding together all of these new exclusives, it would cost £20 to complete the set. But even that wouldn't allow for enough points to get even one of the three points creatures.
Not only would I be spending money on something I don't care about, but it wouldn't even get me one of the special ones.
So I'm not spending any more money on this game unless I actually want the creatures, and it's not too much of course. I will have to deal with not completing the album.
Addictive behaviours and micro transactions are plagues on mobile gaming. I had fallen hook, line, and sinker for it.
