Someone stop me before I start shipping Silverclaw with a chick that literally tried to fucking drown him- I'm-

...in my defense I both think she'd be a very good foil for him and somewhat decent as far as someone to lean on occasionally. They've been through something similar (losing a loved one), which led them down very similar paths (being haunted/hallucinating the presence of a dead cat and killing others to find that loved one's remains/avenge that loved one)

Sometimes you just gotta watch your great great great grandmother kill your great great grandfather, horrified as he looks to you for help as he bleeds out.

Aka, the family tree just got so fucking complicated in Harshest Nights, Bastardstar Sprucestar loved his great great granddaughter Silkstorm very much even though he was a piece of garbage, and sometimes you still cry over people even if they've hurt you and your loved ones.

I want you guys to know I have a cannibal selkie pirate captain oc because I read that bull grey seals will eat other species of seal or even their own species' pups and they do this thing that leaves what scientists call "corkscrew/spiral lacerations" and I saw that and all the cutesy selkie characters and how seals are practically bears and Captain Aksel Macsen Monroe was born and he's a horrible little man who looks like a literal puppy but will steal your wife, make her fall in love with him, and eat her, because he's horrible

He'll settle for monk seal in a pinch, though
