A soothing drive along the American River North Fork in Auburn, California on State Route 49, which was named for the 49ers of the 1849 California gold rush. This drive takes us over the Foresthill Bridge, also known as the Auburn-Foresthill Bridge, which is the highest bridge in California and the fourth highest in the United States. After crossing the bridge we drove on Interstate 80 from Auburn to Roseville.

A woman who plunged 60 feet while taking a selfie on a Northern California bridge is not likely to face charges for crossing a closed walkway, authorities said.

Just wanna say, it was really nice throwing on my Nikes and hiking in beautiful Auburn today, eating sandwiches relaxing near the water under the huuuge Foresthill Bridge. Hearts need nature.
