While my wife was proofreading my last chapter I made this.
Sometimes I get this urge to talk to you and then I remember that things are different between us now. It is kinda sad because I miss you a lot.
One entire year and almost a week without you. It still doesn’t feel real and I still fight the urge to call you with any update in life that happens. No matter what I knew you’d be there. I miss that laugh and our late night convos where you were the voice of reasoning.
I miss you every day Nick. I hope you have all the best hunting holes or the best duck blind ever, sunsets, fishing, the coolest Harley, all the Budweiser and whiskey there could be, and a good ol’ dog up there with you. I know you have good company up there and I hope it has definitely brought you peace. Thank you for being my best friend for 10+ years and being there for everything. You will forever be in my heart Nicholas. Have some real good whiskey for me and don’t forget to save a spot for me up there 🤍🕊️🦌🦆🧡
