If Daemon ever got to live long enough to watch his kids grow and who do you think he'd bequeath Darksister to? Who would you say is his favourite child?

Darksister obviously belongs to Viserys. Or at least should belong to him just as Blackfyre should belong to Aegon as Rhaenyra's eldest legitimate child and hence the rightful heir after her.

But in canon, given the existence of the Velaryon boys, I suppose Daemon promised Darksister to Aegon as his oldest surviving son and his heir.

Daemon's favorite child was 100% baby Aegon. His long awaited son.

I know I always say Aegon was Rhaenyra's dream baby. But remember, he was also Daemon's dream baby. Everytime Rhaenyra and Daemon imagined having a family of their own, the picture in their mind was of baby Aegon 100%. He was literally their dreams and wishes made real.

My HC: Daemon and Rhaenyra cried like babies when baby Aegon was finally born. Imagine him looking up at them with wide dark purple eyes while they sobbed over him, holding each other and kissing.

Not to say, Daemon ever played favorites. Neither did Rhaenyra. They were fantastic parents to all of their kids. But they're not wrong for being extra excited when their dream baby finally joined their family. He was everything Daemon ever wanted in a son and he was everything Rhaenyra ever dreamed about. Can you tell I love babyAegon?

Happy Birthday to the One and Only, Lord of Volley Kageyama Tobio, my best baby forever and ever.

I have still to study (I cap things on MONDAY... Yes... Monday 24th can YOU BELIEVE there are teachs who disregard Xmas so much they actually give you your well deserved evaluation on frigging Monday 24th???? *sigh*) but I couldn’t pass his Bday out, no matter what.

I had to not eat today almost but there you go... as un-perfect and undeserving - because nothing can ever match his image in my mind and heart -as this is, I am very glad I could honor December 22 this year too.

Also because whenever I feel like giving up at my path, and think for once I might accept less than the best outcome in my studies, just to live a little more, HE comes at me and inspires me to do and strive for the VERY best instead, no compromises, no giving up, no bull- s- hit.

This happens quite often and so I can say Lord Kags factually inspires my competitive, perfectionist, determined side, so much than the efforts I pour into my own stuff after his “push” gets doubled and enhanced, and there’s literally nothing I can’t accomplish in that state of grace he sets me into.

It might sounds absurd, I know... but that’s it. I get inspired daily by a manga character, so many years after the very first time his (fictional) existence poked into my soul and made it explode.
