Congratulations to Halsey’s 3rd album, “Manic”, selling the most copies of any female artist so far in 2020! It’s such an incredible feat and I am so beyond proud of her. Halsey/Ashley deserves it. She has worked so hard, and as she put it, “cut herself open” to make this album. “Manic” is such a masterpiece and it really speaks from the heart and it delves deep into Halsey’s mind. She literally wrote every song while she was manic. And it turned out stunning! The sounds of each of the songs are so totally different from one another, yet they all flow together so perfectly. This album, I think, includes some of her most personal songs- like the self-titled first track “Ashley”, track 14 about losing her child titled “More”, and the final track about her life and her relationships with those around her titled “929.” Plus, some incredible collaborations with artists like @dominicfike , Alanis Morissette, and SUGA from BTS. Every song of Manic is perfect in its own way. I can definitely see why it has sold the most copies of any female artist in 2020 so far. Halsey is so talented and creative and beautiful and smart and strong and an incredible performer and writer and person. Congratulations, queen Halsey!!! @iamhalseymusic

High levels of toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” have been found contaminating ice in the Norwegian Arctic, threatening to wildlife.

Recently, disturbingly high levels of toxic PFAS “forever chemicals” have been found contaminating ice in the region, which may present a serious problem for wildlife.

Measurements taken during a study led by Oxford University researchers found 26 PFAS chemical compounds in the ice around Svalbard, Norway

“There’s a washout of contaminants that occurs seasonally… and some PFAS seem to be mobile during melts, which could be important to ecosystems downstream”

Death didn't come for she heard a trickle of water, and upon looking down, she discovered a small spring, and her thirst overcame her, and she instantly cupped her hands and began drinking some of the glorious liquid. As soon as the water touched her lips, she knew something had changed.
