hey! sorry to bother you, but what year is it in the newest chapter of SOA? im kinda confused with the timelines, and TURN is kinda mixing into that as well. thanks!

So, the full timeline plays out like this:

Summarizes Laurens’s early childhood up to the age of 5 (1754-1759)

Summarizes Laurens’s education in Geneva and England up to his movement back to the US (1759- July 1777) - then his movement into Washington’s headquarters (approx. August 7-10th 1777).

Laurens’s first week at headquarters (August 10-17th 1777), the announcement of the victory at the Battle of Bennington reaches Washington’s HQ (August 17-18th 1777)

The army’s movement to Brandywine (August 26- September 9th 1777), the battle (September 11th 1777), the week of movement afterwards, the Battle of the Clouds (September 16th 1777), Captain Lee’s report that Hamilton was killed (September 18th 1777). 

Lee’s report and Hamilton’s return (September 18th 1777) through Hamilton’s departure for Philadelphia (September 21st 1777)

Laurens’s raid with General Greene (September 22-26th 1777) through the day after the Battle of Germantown (October 6th 1777)

The date of Laurens’s appointment & the next day (October 7-8th 1777) 

The next day (October 8th 1777) through Hamilton’s letter to Colonel Christopher Greene (October 15th 1777)

The day after the delivery of Hamilton’s letter (October 16th 1777), through Laurens’s birthday morning (October 28th 1777)

The day after Laurens’s birthday (October 28th 1777) through the morning after Washington’s Council of War (November 25th 1777)

November 25th 1777, after Laurens’s raid through the day Hamilton returns to camp, January 20th 1778

January 20 1778, Hamilton’s return to camp through the day Washington presents his plan to the Congressional Committee, January 29th.
