If Arenanet doesn't give us paintings to hang in our home, I'm gonna scream.
I want a giant portrait of Trahearne!
Sieran, Tybalt and Forgal too!
And don't forget Aurene.
You have been warned.

Sometimes I make stupid boring things for fun...
During my latest personal story chapter 6 run, I decided to see how long it would take for NPCs to kill Blightghast.
This fight should be the most emotionally impactful fight in the personal story. You're avenging your Order Mentor, retaking Claw Island, and proving that yes Tyrians can fight the Elder Dragons and win!
But it's a 8 minute afk snoozefest if you choose to, and if you don't, it's a fear-pull extravaganza. ZzZzZz
(this is from @captains-nobles-dragons) I just wanted to say how much I love your character and storyline studies! What's your opinion on Laranthir and would you ever consider doing a study on him?
Ooh, thank you! I put a lot of thought into them, thanks for noticing!
As for Laranthir, I'll admit I hadn't considered him for a study before because his story (he wants to find love) is so minimal AND severely underdeveloped. Also, aside from AB, I haven't played the HoT metas nearly enough to know his storyline there (if any; I don't know).
However, my personal opinion of Laranthir is very positive: he was a close enough friend to Almorra to help her out after she lost her warband, which is a definite plus in my opinion, and devoted enough to stick with her for the next decade as her Grand Warmaster (basically a career choice on his part).
If you're looking for good Laranthir content, I highly recommend @draw-you-coward's stories about his Vigil Commander, Roza, whom Laranthir basically one-on-one mentored for a while. He's excellently characterized and there's even a piece about him during IBS. (I also talked about him a bit in my 'I built it with my tears' alternate timeline idea in my Order mentor/Forgal post, if you haven't seen it yet.)
Speaking of what Laranthir's up to in IBS - and knowing that you're interested - I might do a study on him if we ever find out what he WAS doing during that time (personally, I hope he comes back and finally gets the ball rolling on murdering Bangar brutally, he's starting to feel like our last hope...) - that stuff is bound to give him some good character development.
Again, thanks for the compliment and the ask!!
So...with Jormag messing with our minds, I wonder if, somewhere along the way, our Order’s mentor will show back up somewhere...
just sayin
Nooooooooooooooo Forgal. :(
You know what. The Commander needs their mentors from their orders far more than they need Dragons Watch.
I can’t imagine Forgal, Seiran or Tybalt being so blasé about seeing the commander die and/or a room of mutilated murdered images of the commander.
laranthir of the smol
Forgal is so stronk he breathes the oxygen in water without gills amirite????
