So I have this headcanon that by the end of Episode IX and while the rest of the galaxy celebrates the end of the war, Ben Solo visits his parents' grave alone. He lets himself grieve for the first time since that night on Starkiller base.
"You don't always have to be alone, you know."
Mildly suprised, Ben turned to Rey standing beside him. He considers her for a moment and ever so slightly, leaned forward.
With eyes closed and the taste of her lips still fresh and sweet on his, he whispers.
"Neither should you."
