“I promise.”
[ @forgottenbrxther - Chapter 0 ]
How was this happening? How was it possible for any of this to happen?
Who on the planet could pull off something as daring as this? Kidnapping civilians, idols from Adamas, the police, the secret police, and placing them all into one inescapable hotel? And to top it all off they had to commit murder and get away with it in order to escape. It was like something out of a murder mystery novel or video game.
But, this was very much real. They were all trapped. Genji had spent the last hour or two after the assembly just to search for some form of exit. The search had resulted in nothing. No escape and no idea of when anyone could arrive to save them. No one even had any idea where this place was. Due to the lack of windows they could all be a million miles underground or hundreds of stories in the air. And that might’ve been one of the scariest parts. The complete and utter isolation of this place...even with company it felt like someone had shoved Genji into a small box without any light. There wasn’t any room to move, to breathe, he was trapped.
But, he had to maintain his composure. The scenario could be worse. They could all be trapped with murderers and be completely helpless. They could be starving to death, or being tortured. At least...at least they had a chance to wait for some way out.
Genji let out a soft sigh as he passed by the dinning area. Peeking in he noticed a familiar young man sitting at one of the tables.
Takumi...was Takumi alright? No, he wasn’t alright. no one could be alright in a situation like this. You’d have to be absolutely mad to be alright with all this.
The cyborg walked over to the table the younger was sitting at and rested a single metallic hand on the table.
“Is it alright if I sit here?”
Well here comes the reaper. We knew thee well Genji.

There was no way in hell he was allowing this.
Genji huffed as he stormed his way past the guards that had been meant to keep any intruders out. They knew better than to get in his way, to mess with a son of the Shimada. While he may be the youngest he was still a force to be reckoned with. He had even made the fact that he wasn’t afraid to fight back perfectly clear too. The guards that had gotten in his way prior were currently suffering on the ground from this declaration.
When he finally got to his destination the young man unlocked the doors and threw them open without any hesitation. Curled up in a fearful ball was a boy...one he intended to save.
“Hey”
Genji said in a soft tone. He knelt down to the boy’s height and offered a gentle smile.
“There’s no need to be scared anymore. I’m going to get you home...”
He held out his hand for the boy to take.
“I’m Genji. What’s your name?”

It was nice to walk near the ocean.
Genji hadn’t visited the ocean very often when hew as younger but now that he lived on this island it wasn’t too hard to find a nice place to walk by the shore. Bately County, he had found, was the nicest place to walk through if you wanted peaceful walk with the ocean not too far away. It wasn’t too large a place but it was breath of fresh air compared to the city, especially for Genji who thrived off of meditation and peace ever since he had received the teachings of the Shimbali.
As he walked, his hands resting inside the pockets of a hoodie, a shop caught his eye. With curiosity controlling his steps he walked over to shop and investigated. A shop for Japanese crafts..?
A pang of sadness struck him when his gaze rested upon a dragon themed figure that sat in the store window. Ah, how many little statues of dragons did his family use to have? He couldn’t remember. Perhaps at one point in his childhood Genji had tried to count them all but those were memories that were too far for him to fully grasp.
He shook his head ever so slightly to dismiss those saddening thoughts before walking into the store. As expected, it was filled with Japanese crafts that reminded him of his old home... As he looked around his gaze fell upon a young man. .
“I’m sorry for the interruption, but do you work here?”

hiyori had found her day to be rather eventful, in certain words. there was not much to describe how things had been beforehand, but now that the game was over and she had done her job of cheering her dear idol oikawa tooru on, she found herself stuck in a predicament. she has been invited to go out for kareoke with a random bunch of people.
it was probably because of some weird reason that she was invited.
sure, she had said yes, and they had all been crammed into a booth. a small girl who was likely to grow taller than her in the future was singing some song enthusiastically, and it made hiyori smile faintly before she remembered the situation at hand.
she was seated next to a really tall, really scary man.
on any other day with any other person, she would create small talk about trivial things to ease the others mind. but now, oh boy, she was the nervous one. for someone as low a presence as hiyori to be sitting next to such a tall person was beyond her, and if you were to ask her about it, she would not answer.
when the man leaned down to be able to reach her sitting height, she looked over to him with a nervous smile, fidgeting a bit. the man opened his mouth, and she awaited what was to come, ready to bolt at a moments notice.

“You uh… you dropped this… and this too..” Ankho was only passing through, but while on his merry way he stumbled upon a line-up of items on the ground. He had the feeling the other didn’t notice they were dropping their belongings at all, since they were starting to form a small trail. Although he pointed it out to the other, he didn’t bother to pick up the items, and instead pointed at them to ensure they at least know the problem at hand. ❈
“Are you in a hurry, or something? Jeez…” he looked them up and down. There were too many familiar faces lately. Hasn’t he seen them before? ❈
“…Oh! You’re that guy in Oukoku! Although, it seems we haven’t talked… much. At all.” he pointed at them after the sudden realization of the familiar face, having occasionally taking a few stops into the store that he could easily walk to. ❈

It was silly to be afraid to go into a store. It was silly to walk past it countless times while going through town and look in the window at all of the crafts that lined the shelves. He shouldn’t feel that it was bad for someone with a ‘tough, cool shark’ attitude on stage to go into a shop for Japanese crafts. He could do what he wanted! It was his life!
The idol lightly tapped his foot, looking once again through the window of the shop. This time he took a deep breath an turned towards the door and opened it. He shoved his hands inside of his pockets and did his best not to make eye contact with the owner of the store...
God he must look like a complete fool right now.
