In the most recent run-in with Cemetery Wind, Lennox had gotten separated from Ironhide. Of course, they’d met up again after- always have a plan, right?- but they had set off quickly. Lennox hadn’t had time to look the mech over.

It was a dream. A pleasant dream, but a dream, all the same. It had to have been. Foolish, really, letting himself sleep like that, so deeply, and for so long. He knew that time had passed, and a lot of it. He began mentally cursing himself - until, that was, he realized he was holding onto someone. Slowly opening his eyes, a form began to take shape.
Ironhide?
So it hadn’t been a dream. He was here, he was real. Gently, Sideswipe laid his head back down against Ironhide’s shoulder, and whispered softly, “You’re really here.”
