things are strange with us and i can’t find a way to get through to you right now so i’m finding myself back here, writing out my thoughts. i don’t know how to explain this to you, my love, but you need to go easy on me. i know this is new to you, but it’s new to me too and when you run your hands over my body, it isn’t the first time but you’re still my first time. you’re still the very first time that i am feeling this way. your love, your words, your anger, your passion, your indifference- i’m dealing with it all for the first time still and yes, i’ve adjusted as much as my capabilities allow but the fact that this is new still remains. i don’t know if you noticed, but my heart is yours. and i want to say thank you for keeping it safe. thank you for keeping me safe. thank you for holding me while i sleep. i’m not as innocent as i once was but i wouldn’t change the fact that it is you that took it away- and you keep it safe and you let me have it back every once in a while before taking back into possession what is rightfully yours. i’m yours. and i’m kind of scared that i always will be- even after we end.
