What I really love about this fic is the premise as a whole and the way the characters are written. The love the whole set up of Dick getting caught by this character who kind of have this twisted motivation to save him. And the entire thing that it entails. Dick's headspace is just so well done and immersive. The way the author arranges the thoughts and timeskips just really highlights Dick's mental process. And the way he perceives and reacts to everything.

The villain character is just super fun! I really appreciate the way she is written. How unhinged she may seem in certain points, yet she can be seen as completely sane otherwise (barring her actions). And just the predicament Bruce, Dick, Tim, Damian and Alfred are trapped in. How they are controlled and threatened and treated in general! And the conflict and dilemma the characters face throughout the entire thing!!! And the fourth chapter with Dick was just A+ angst and pain! That was so well done; be it on Dick's indirect or Bruce's more direct end.

The absolute best part about this fic is how Dick's mind is written, that slow shift in his mental state. How Dick understands and percieves the world, just loving and admiring Bruce so much while being totally oblivious to what is happening to him. And Bruce manipulating the situation, manipulating Dick! Honestly, the entire series is brilliant (seeing what else and who else Bruce brings into his plans and what it all entails)! But this specific one is just mega stellar!!! The characterisation, emotions and thoughts are so well done!

The concept and emotions is definitely what hits with this fic. Jason's whole mental state through out this entire story and how he tried to fight against Harley is just the best. His emotional and mental struggles and also his suffering is just amazing! Also, the way Harley is written is something I really immensely appreciate. It is this lovely balance of insanity!

The Jason angst is probably one of the best parts about this fic. His entire turmoil with Bruce, Joker and himself. I especially love the way Bruce treats Jason, his attempts to help. And the lovely comparison of Bruces of different universe. The Jason angst and turmoil and hurt in this is just beautiful! And the Joker. The Joker is arguably the best thing. His insanity is amazingly done! The things he did was written so so well!

I am in love with the torture and angst. The hurt coming from both Jason and Dick! I especially enjoy the whole bit with Jason remembering his past mid-story and his whole internal (as well as external) reaction and thoughts through out. His fear and panic is just so lovely! And the ending is just so good!!! Just a really lovely piece of writing as a whole!

For the WIP Ask Game: "Bruce Can't Say I Love You" o.o (Ehem this is one of my favourite tropes) <3

Ohohoh to be honest I'd forgotten about this one but on reread of what I have it's delicious angst.

Basically it's a collection of scenes where Bruce tells someone he loves them and then something bad happens to them so he slowly (and very subconsciously!) starts to believe that when he says he loves someone, it causes the terrible event to occur.

Have a snippet! This is right after they leave the movie theater (the infamous movie theater...)

“Oof, you’ve got to quit growing, Brucie, my back can’t keep up with you,” his father teased, poking him in the ribs. Bruce swatted at his hand, before darting close to wrap an arm around his father’s waist.

“Love you,” he said. “Thanks for bringing me tonight.” His father wrapped an arm around his shoulder and squeezed.

“I’m glad you had a good time,” he said.
