Since you’ve mentioned that you’re a fan of Narinder x Forneus, do you have any headcanons/lore for them? Like are Aym and Baal their sons?

I do actually! Get ready for the lore dump lol:

So yes, Baal and Aym are the sons of Narinder and Forneus. The lore I actually have for them is that they met when they were children. Shamura despises mortals, but since Narinder would serve as death and would be around mortals all the time, it would be easier to socialize him early on and they would watch to make sure they didn't get into trouble.

There was one day where the two of them were messing around and Narinder has kissed her on the forehead, unknowingly planting what I like to call "the kiss of death" wherein Forneus would be unable to die unless the god of death allowed it. Hence why Forneus canonically lives over a thousand years.

Well since they were both children when it happened and Narinder didn't know what kinds of things he was capable of, he never knew that he did it.

The two were separated for a while once Narinder had to take learning his powers more seriously(think like, teen years for a god). They later reconnected when Narinder had fully grown into his godhood. There he'd learned that Forneus had been struggling to conceive and so desperately wished for children. Well that day, her wish came true. It was the day they had truly fallen in love with each other, and she had him promise he'd be there when the kits were born.

Narinder was chained before Baal and Aym were born, and really the rest is history. Shamura took the kits and gave them to Narinder, and he raised them in his realm as Forneus waits just as he did, waiting for her kits to one day return to her. I like to think of the waiting thing as something they have in common.

Every time they reconnected, I like to think that instead of a heartfelt greeting, Narinder responded with "you're still alive?". Except when he was usurped by Noryn. They had taken him crusading with them and they came across Forneus' shop.

That time he didn't care, he was just beyond thrilled that she still lived. She was pissed off at him for a while for not keeping his promise to her, but he was eventually forgiven.

But yeah, I know it was a lot, but that's what I love about the sort of loose timeline in the game, it leaves so much to be played with lol.

I like to think of parts of Chant II as ideas for the "what do you think awaits you" speech that Shamura does in the game, but with Narinder and Forneus. Cause trying to get with a god is not all it's cracked up to be and it's blatantly obvious to everyone but Lyrus that they will be betrayed

How does Narinder react whenever Lamb flirts with Forneus?

Neither Narinder or Bella mind really. They’re both aware that Noryn has a bit of a flirty personality and they’d never do anything untoward.

Both can get a little bit jealous at times but all in all, Narinder and Bella trust Noryn completely.
