forks community candlelight vigil

it seems the more the world changes , the more the people of forks strive to stay the same . the town , usually quiet after the end of winter break , is busier then usual . there’s plenty of new faces to be found , and curious eyes can be seen watching newcomers everywhere . it would be all anyone could talk about , if not for the notable list of missing persons only growing higher . there wasn’t many from forks , before waylon was found , and now the town has an emotional attachment to them .
classes have already begun once more at forks community college , and they are busy at that . but at the urging of the townsfolk - mayor samuel harris announces a candlelight vigil for the rising number of missing persons and those who were taken in animal attacks .
‘ tonight we come together as a community to talk, meditate and mourn those lost in the recent animal attacks . the town has always been a protected place , with our community holding a commitment to openness . we want to urge both our residents and visitors to talk to one another , and not be embarrassed by their grief . we feel the loss of each member of our community , new or old , and our hearts go out to their families . we also urge you all to be safe , and tonight will discuss new measures that might be taken to ensure safety from these attacks . ’
the event will start at 6 pm , and continue on through the night - giving not only a chance to light candles in memory and meet their new neighbours but hope for the future .
