Formlabs Prepares To Ship The Super Sexy Form One 3D Printer The boy geniuses of Formlabs, David Cranor, Maxim Lobovsky, and Natan Linder have posted a video detailing their Form One 3D printer, one of the most well-put-together 3D printing devices we’ve seen in a while.

A Film with 3D Printed Film

Figure 1: Projector and film setup. (photo credit) Julien Maire's Relief project is a stop motion film of a man digging. Cool part is the film consists of 85 3D printed figurines. They were printed using Form 1 of Form Labs. And he developed a custom projector to display his film. Essentially, the 85 figurines are connected like a chain or film, which cycle through the projector. It's the large square assembly in Figure 1. See below for additional pics. The only sad part about this article is there's no sample of the projector in action!
