         memories was all the teen had left of her family. momo, her precious little sister, deserved nothing but the world and the one who seemingly spoiled her the most was the cause of her ruin. the phrase ‘kill them with kindness’ was applied here, in a literal sense. and if she was more aware, would she have stopped her big sis...? instead of pondering over the idea, kyouko had a chance to clarify that here and now. 

         completely aware that this was all a dream, the real kyouko enters with an apparent purpose -- the dream kyouko however, was smiling without a single care in the world. oblivious to their impending doom, oblivious to a destiny to fight witches forever. it almost made her sick just witnessing such innocence. but there was momo, sitting across from her in her room, with a string assembled into a game of cat’s cradle. she waits patiently for her big sis to make the next move. kyouko’s forgotten the little things like playing games, doing each other’s hair, and simply talking so comfortably with each other -- how they used to be enough for her to smile and pray for another day, another blessing. 

         oddly enough, a new purpose wasn’t the only thing different about this memory. another puella magi -- homura, was standing a few feet behind momo. while her younger sister didn’t seem to notice the dark haired girl, kyouko certainly did. and while her dream self stayed to continue the game, her sentient self made her way over to the other, furrowing her brows. more than discomfort, knowing that the other was peering into her happy memories like this was... distressing. showing weakness in front of the other puella magi was something kyouko never imagined she’d do -- purposely or not. so, she takes a seat on momo’s bed, breaking eye contact with homura to rest them on the two sisters in front of her.

;; I think it depends on the person! But for me personally I’ve always done something like that. I think about it as playing catch-up, particularly if its small memories. It’s kinda like if you’re playing a JRPG with an amnesiac and you ‘find’ memories. In my case here it’s a couple of months of remembering stuff so it’s not a big deal as much as its new information. On Alucard I had it be like just this unrelenting rush because I wanted to be creatively dramatic! I don’t think there’s a set way to do it and you should feel free to have fun with it!

If you’d ever like to possibly plot something out with me, feel free to message me! I’d love to be able to help ya out! I can’t imagine lich meat tastes too good, though. Especially when it’s all salty with tears.

Azrael doesn’t eat people as often as someone might think but definitely enough that he earns his moniker. He’d definitely be excited to fight Homura considering her veteran status though! And hearing about her battle stories. He can be, oddly supportive of other people’s endeavors of strength. But I also can’t see him killing or eating anything that looks like a child/teenager (mostly due to their potential growing as they do--though there are exceptions to this being vampires/gods/ect so he’d have to get to know Homura is...a lich in the first place which is gonna be fun).

Azrael’s....very fascinating and odd and I love it a lot.
