It was funny, how much life could change in a year. The last formal, Rosalind had been miserable, accompanied by Gilbert to an event that was, in her opinion, tacky and badly done. They’d shared their first kiss that night, and it had been a miserable preview to the rest of her life. But now, Rosalind was no longer shackled down. She’d planned an event she was proud to put her name against, with the help of some friends. And, a rare occurrence when at a school wide event, Rosalind was actually in a good mood. 

“Care for a drink?” She asked Asher, nodding towards a floating drinks tray coming their way.
