Current Mission: Assess Shadow and Aspec Hunt activity in the Alabama district. Establish safe house location within the district.
Mission Report: Began moving through Alabama. As expected, Aspec Hunt activity lessened outside of the capital. Shadow activity was nonexistent. The shadows do not exist. However, a few locations without shadow activity were found, but were not suited for a safe house for other reasons. Assessment: More time will need to be devoted to finding a suitable location for a safe house.
Additional Details: Privately owned land isn’t a good place for a safe house, but basically every acre of land out here is owned by someone. Been looking two days and still haven’t found a big enough place to settle down that wasn’t infested with shadows. I’ll report back once I finally have a location.

Mission Report: Arrived in Montgomery, AL. Found a small but not-insignificant amount of Aspec Hunt activity in the city. It is likely that Hunt activity will decrease outside of the capital. Shadows present in Montgomery but not by any unusual amount. Assessment: Not an ideal location for a safe house. More of the district must be explored.
Additional Notes: The Aspec Hunt in Montgomery talks big, but it’s all air. I was able to keep under the radar and get what I needed without being spotted. They’re a pain in the rear, though. Not staying here longer than I need to. -Ace#15

Abbreviated mission summary:
The living conditions of remnant groups like those of Team Plasma were noticeably worse than groups who were not separated. They were not horrible by my standards, but the lack of space, new uniforms and general sense of safety were the main factors of this decline.
I also find it interesting to note that while the following of the “main tenants of Team Plasma” was devout, many seemed to be unsure of what they actually were. Even the leader of this splinter group appeared to be floundering at times, often not having a plan larger than two steps. Regardless of these things, the grunts here were not lacking in skill.
I cannot speak to the strength and organization of Team Plasma when they were a whole, but the regular training and communication where I was created a hardworking environment where improvement is common and teamwork is exceptional. This was much more than I expected, given the reputation Plasma seems to hold.
Their base of operations appeared to be an abandoned section of a larger facility. Given that there were no entrances to this supposed larger complex, I came to the conclusion that evolving plans and architecture caused this isolation. I also ruled out the possibility of the hideout being its own building simply because the technology and instruments inside were not particularly useful on their own.
During my time gathering information there I came across not only past plans carried out by Team Plasma but also correspondence between other splinter groups such as the one I was researching. From what I could gather the vast majority, if not all, accusations against the projects and leadership of the full and former group of Team Plasma are true. There were very few instances of reduction in scale of these plans compared to rumors we have gathered and the actual level of planning and behind the scenes work was eye opening. Because of this I would say that the trustworthiness (especially because many of their actions have involved lying to the general public) of this group and others like them is very low.
There was one major hiccup in this operation, which resulted in its cancellation and abrupt end. I got captured. They tied me up to get information out of me at a later date and resorted to gagging me when I talked too much. The hospitality shown to me after my intentions were implied dramatically decreased. I would not consider it a pleasant experience in the slightest. They did lock me in one of the (at the time) unused control rooms of the building, of which I could use the equipment and energy to send messages, a good example of this group’s poor planning skills.
My partner, Nori Phoris and URS member Pandoria Chloris, took it upon themselves to come to my aid. At the time I was imprisoned I could not and still cannot think of a way to get out without their help. Oddly enough, I think I could sense the presence of Stinger, my Naganadle, once my rescuers got close to Black City. I believe I briefly experienced the exceptionally strong connection between Pokémon and trainer that has been mentioned and discussed to occur on occasion. Once I knew that Nori and Pandoria were close I used the equipment in the facility to broadcast energy signals, which I knew Nori could uniquely see. I think a more in-depth study on the bond between Pokémon and trainers would be beneficial to the future of the URS. Of course, plans for my future should be discussed after this report is done, because this is just that enjoyable.
From my understanding, the rescue operation entered the hideout of this splinter group via the sewers and underground tunnels of Black City. The two (Nori and Pandoria) then snuck throughout the building until a few minutes after their entrance, when they were found. The team then brute forced their way to my detainment room where I was released. Following this, the three of us left through the sewers with minimal injuries and unknown but certain casualties on the assailants side. Additional note: a strong rock slide will not bring down Black City sewer tunnels.
When we resurfaced there were a few remaining grunts but they were quickly dealt with via quick thinking and “intimidation” tactics (explained in-depth in the full report). I suspect it will take a while for these remnants of team plasma to recover and their new plans are unknown, if they have any at all. I am also unsure of their actions during my detainment period, which is a regrettable loss of information.
