As I continue...
Now it's been a long time since I posted anything related to health, fitness &/or wellness. I am continuing my journey with fiery in me. This time it's not only for one end goal but for my entire life. My career, confidence, fears, energy, soul...I want to be in a place where I am unapologetically happy with where and who I am. So I will get started now.
I went to the school rec center tonight.
I ran 1.5 miles on this weird machine that is supposed to work out more muscle groups than a normal treadmill, then 1.5 miles at 9 min/mile on a treadmill. I am happy because doing that 1.5 miles on the treadmill at that pace was hard for me and I got all the way through without stopping. I also weighed myself just for kicks and I was 111.1 lbs...cool number!!! I’m thinking I am going to try to go to the rec center on Mondays and Wednesdays, do half an hour of yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and do some lifting with my boyfriend on either Fridays or Saturdays. Then I will take which ever one of those two days I didn’t work out as well as Sundays as rest days. I think that will be a manageable and effective combination of cardio, flexibility, and strength training. Here’s hoping I can stick with it when my schedule gets crazy with school!
