um ok this is a STORY... it is long.

ok so you guys probably already know this but i like to go for jogs in the mornings with bec before school! um so it was this one morning in like... just before i started school at skaia, and bec and i were trying out a new route through our suburb

the thing is that bec really likes running but he really REALLY hates leashes. um it is technically illegal to have dogs in our neighbourhood off of leashes, so i just use this super long one and a lot of trust!!

in my defense, he’s usually fine, he’s just a lot faster than i am so he likes to go for a good scamper and then come back!!

but um the hole in this great plan is that rose lalonde owns cats.

so one of them was sitting on their gate post when we came by and bec just sort of lost his mind?? the cat freaked out and leapt back into their yard, but becquerel is a very large dog and he really didnt have any trouble clearing their fence

ANYWAY so i panic and vault the gate after him but my earphones get caught on the top of the fence and rip out of my phone, which starts blasting don’t cha at top volume while i like... THROW myself at bec

ok so the cat is scrambling onto the roof, bec is standing directly in front of the lalondes’ front door making a LOT of noise, i am basically on top of him, and my phone is just gearing up for the first chorus of that RIDICULOUS song when rose opens the door in her pyjamas 

oh my god this is so uncomfortable to even talk about!!!!

and then there’s this full thirty seconds where she just looks me dead in the eye and pcd are all doncha wish your girlfriend was hot like me doncha wish your girlfriend was a freak like me

then she just goes

“I prefer the Spice Girls.”

and closes the door

?????? i swear to god a part of me died inside and i will never recover

then when school started she was in my english class and i just kind of shouted IM SORRY at her from across the room and we’ve been friends ever since!!!!
