I was tagged (days ago—apologies for only just getting around to this!) by on-a-bed-of-shaved-fennel.

1. Best year you have had in the past 10 years?

Not specifying a January-December year may be cheating, but it's a tie between my first and third year of university—first year was this idyllic, surreal time where I had barely anything to worry about and which I feel nostalgic about because I'll never, ever live that way again, and my third year saw me in a lovely house with lovely housemates after a slightly hellish living situation the year before, founding an awesome and successful student feminist society that I'm allowed to boast about because it may well be the greatest thing I achieve in my life, taking really brilliant degree modules, meeting Jess, and getting back into writing fanfic, which has always been a really positive tool for improving my writing in general.

2. Would you have (more/less/any) siblings if you could?

Nah, I feel very happy with my two, though when I was younger I like most people was waiting for my long-lost twin to pitch up.

3. Describe yourself in three words.

Basically always sleepy.

4. How is your hair usually done?

Eh, I'm really lazy so I don't spend long on it, it's pretty much just down if it's behaving itself, up in a messy bun if it isn't. And I really like floral pins and headbands.

5. Favourite summer activity?

Sitting outside the pub with my friends in the late afternoon and just enjoying having the company of people I care about.

6. Favourite winter activity?

Skiing! I am usually quite averse to exercise, but I love skiing and wish I could do it more often.

7. You have a spare afternoon. What do you do?

I wish I could say something interesting but in all likelihood I'd go back to bed. Or go on tumblr. Or go on tumblr while lying in bed.

8. What was the last song you listened to?

Maybe by London Grammar.

9. If you could meet anyone, who would you meet?

Oh god, I don't know. Is it cheating to say Donna Moss because lbr it's Donna Moss.

10. Favourite Disney movie?

I'm currently very attached to Saving Mr. Banks.

11. What do you want to happen this year?

It's boring, but really just to feel settled and happy after a year of not feeling that way.

On a whim I watched the Five Doctors thing and oh my goodness it's so adorable, I probably didn't get all the references but it was just so sweet. Peter Davison <3

It’s brilliant! You can rewatch after you’ve watched all the episodes and will probably get more, but it’s brilliant no matter what. And I caught a whole load more reading the credits, because there are so many Doctors’ surnames in there that it’s lovely that even actors who couldn’t be involved were represented through their kids. It was so star-studded, while at the same time being a wonderful show of the family of people the show has created. 

It’s the best. The “FOR THE FANS!” bit sums it up best.
