And Desolas is all like: I wanted to rescue you.

@forsakensense The second in command of Velox's unit was concerned. Had been ever since he saw the boy walk off with the much older general last night. Was that who their youngest member spent his nights with? Apparently so. The next morning he asked for an audience with the general Arterius and soon stepped into his office. "General, sir," he greeted and snapped to attention.

@forsakensense One night wasn't enough to clear his head. When the evening of the second day of shoreleave came around Velox still didn't know what to think of Desolas being Saren's brother. Thus he hadn't talked to the general since. The whole thing was giving him a headache anyway. That's why he said yes when his squad mates asked him to join them for a bar round that evening. They were already in their drinks when Velox got the courage to ask the woman he usually went on patrol with to dance. She was just a few years older than him and they were good friends. Very good friends apparently, if the look of them that evening was anything to go by. She was surprised to find her usually so shy squad mate's hands going low over her hips and pull her tight as they danced. Sinous movements and hot breaths out on the floor. Velox probably would have thought twice about it if he'd known Desolas was there and could see him.

Tavi didn’t actually call ahead before showing up.  Maybe rude. But he was excited.  The turian knocked at the door, chirping loudly to catch Desolas’ attention.  

“C’mon!  I found a nice bar to socialize you at.  You’ll like people after this!”

It had been almost two weeks since he’d spent the night with the General. Now they had docked for a quick shoreleave on a random planet until the carrier was checked over from their last combat. This was maybe stupid, Velox thought to himself as he waited until the rest of the squad dropped out of the room before walking over to Desolas. “Sir?” he said, a bit more casually than he would have if this was business, hands held behind his back.

Velox was nervous about this. He’d seen his commander get more and more tense as the weeks went by. Was he the only one who saw it? He couldn’t be right? Usually their superiors would be taken care of. There was always someone else that offered to take some stress off their shoulders. But now it had gotten to a point were the young fighter pilot didn’t think it was something that could be ignored any more. It was his duty as a turian soldier to take care of his Commander.

That was why, with tense muscles and a nervous ball in his stomach, that he made his way to General Arterius’ office. Thoughts like if he’d misunderstood the rules for this, and maybe the man didn’t do this sort of thing, would Velox make a fool out of himself if he offered, kept going through his mind. But eventually he knocked on the door and waited.
