It's been three weeks and four days since I've heard from him. It's not easy, but I'm so proud of him and I'm happy about how fast this is moving. His dad booked our rooms on base for graduation and I'm going to book my plane ticket soon. I'm so excited to see him, even though I still have 42 days to go until family day. Does anyone know someone that did their basic at Fort Jackson, SC? If so, when did they get to call loved ones? How far in were they until you got a letter from them? I know it might be a little different with receiving mail for me as I don't live in the states. I'm just trying to figure out when I might hear from him again. If it isn't until graduation that's fine, but it's nice to have an idea. Any information would be helpful to me, I'm trying to stay positive and countdowns make that easier on me!
