Thai Chicken Forever
How Good is Thai Chicken on Pizza?
I’ve had Thai Chicken Pizza before and it just gets better every time. Forte’s in Randolph did it right with this slice; tons of chicken and a nice sweet kick! $3.61 may seem a little steep for a slice but this slice was quality! HIGHLY recommended!

Forte's - Route 10 in Randolph, NJ
I know I will catch heat for giving another perfect score, but those of you outside the "Pizza Belt" have no idea about the amount of amazing pizza perfectionists in the NJ/NY/CT/Philly area. It's more than a pie, it's a craft. It's artwork. And the fellas at Forte's are the Van Gogh's and Michaelangelo's of pizza.
For Father's Day we went as a family to Forte's. We ordered a fresh-out-the-oven chicken bruschetta pie. I have never had the pleasure of ordering such a specialty pie. It was tastebud heaven. The grilled chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The blend of vegetables complimented the slice very well. But the best part of this pie had to be the cheese. It's gooey goodness stretched from the slice with each bite. Mouthwatering.
The second pie was a chicken bacon ranch. As you can see they were plentiful with the toppings. Even better, the crust remained intact under the weight of the toppings. Slices like this have a tendency to have their crusts become saturated with oil and dressing, causing everything to slide off. This was not the case though, as this crust stayed strong. The breaded chicken was blanketed by a good coat of cheese.

Forte's - 100 years of wonderful !
Forte's is a real piece of Dundee history.
Up side:
I passed this place for a year or two, thinking every time I saw the vintage shop front how great it would be if it was actually real, I seriously thought it was just an old shop front that hadn't been replaced. :D
But one day I stopped hoping beyond hope that what I thought was there actually was. And lo and behold I walked into pure Dundee heaven!
Behind the old shop front was an amazing find, you walk in through an old sweety shop selling lucky tatties, sweety peanuts and home made ice-cream into a tiny cafe frozen in time. The menu reads like a Monty Python sketch sporting every combination of cheese, ham, tomato, onion, egg, bacon and tuna on hot toasted Dundee rolls, tinned Heinz soup, and the most amazing frothy coffee made by an ancient coffee machine held together with bolts and welds. The cakes are all by Tunnocks and the knickerbocker glory's are fab!!
Its truly like stepping back in time, the crockery is the old 1970's glass ware and the family that run it banter with the customers, all making it a great experience. If we have visitors we always take them there for a bacon, cheese and onion roll and a lime milkshake, and a bag of sweetys on the way out.
Its open till 4 on a Sunday and is a great stop off for a natter after a look round Curr and Dewar's auction house.
Down side:
The old booths have seats about 18 inches deep and are made for midgets, but it all adds to the fun!
