A tiny little linoleum cut I made many years ago on a camping trip. I love drawing trees. Only around 2.5” square. I squeezed it thru the etching press to get a deep embossment and to pick up the watercolor I’d painted in the deep part. Just on a scrap of paper. Hollis @shinopots47 gave me a wee cup last night when I saw him at the @featherstonecenterforthearts opening of the Vineyard Gazette Photography show. It's a GREAT SHOW in a truly lovely new gallery. Hollis had a cool 1980 photo in it of the ferry run aground. I met him in 1973, my first winter on the Island. We were both in a passion play with a large and very fun cast.
