I kinda wish I’d printed a few more of these when this Reductive block was in this state. Ah well. Most of it is carved away now. The variations are endless! All of life’s adventures in process. Directions I could go in....the choices not made in favor of others.....my imagination wonders “what would have/could have happened....?” And then I’ve got that pressing desire to see how else could it look, where else can I go with it....?!? Such fun today in the print studio at Featherstone collaborating on five Reductive Relief Block prints.Marvelous to watch the images emerge as each person carved away more of a block already started by another. I started this relief cut at Featherstone three years ago. Worked on it on a trip to Arizona, then brought it home and tucked it away. Came out again today. I cut away more of the block and added another layer of color to the prints. One more level of carving/printing I think.
