   Hand waves as an extra attempt to draw the other’s attention, though after a moment Miles finds it wise to bring himself closer to the student; jogging but a short distance before reaching his side.

        “Do ye know this campus WELL? Gotta admit I’m a bit lost ‘round here.”

   Shoulders hike and fall in a heavy shrug, lips quirking in a sheepish smile--it wouldn’t take long for all to become familiar, but still were there places he found trouble finding on his own. Gaze shifts from left to right, as if searching for something, brows creasing and lips pursing with slight ANNOYANCE in his inability to locate his destination. 

        “We uh, got a LIBRARY here don’t we? ‘Cause I can’t seem t’find it on my own.”

time has proven to heal old wounds yet the present was always equipped with possibilities to CARVE through the scars. just a glimmer of fate had proved so cruel, that blinding smile so desperately forgotten had just unearthed old infatuation sloppily buried in the recesses of his heart. why did it seem like the universe collectively HATED him? skylar knew that one day he would have to face memories of the past but he didn’t realize it would be so soon — or rather, the whole reason he applied to asphodelum academy was because he wasn’t ready to face such conflict. 

so why was he here in the heart of asphodelum’s library? the basilaion did not want to find out. 

with haste, he began to shove his belongings into his bag unable to worry about the mess he’s created to his notebook. if he wasn’t noticed by the unsuspecting party, then it was in his own best interest that it SELFISHLY remained that way.
