Future with You: Major Arcana Pages

All the major arcana pages I formatted for the free Sonic zine Future with You by @chaosquillcollection

This was a great side-project I worked on during the zine production. I serously didnt think we could do all of them and would have been happy with a few to fill empty pages, but the zine contribs really pulled together and finished all of them!!!!

There was a great veriaty in sizes and types of illustrations, so I had to adapt my template many time to fit with what everyone did.

This year has given me the chance, more than any other one, to understand part of my sensibility has always tried to find an outlet through service to others. This “service” has not always been straightforward, understanding what I create as a way to give back the energy that has been gifted to me. Sometimes it’s also been through having the seeds or a small lamp that show others how to plant and nurture, how to explore the dim road ahead. My interests have allowed me to be that friend or acquaintance (friend to be?) who gives you a little push so that you start or reinforce the curiosity for your introspection, and this is something that has always given me joy and confirmed my convictions.This is why, closing up this 2023 filled with lessons, I want to start a project integrating both my love for illustration and for introspective processes through esoteric practices. Starting with The Fortune Card. --- I started this project in Spanish since it's my native language, and then took the time to translate it to English so I can reach my more general audience. Future with You: Chapter Breaks

Page breaks I made for the FREE Amy Rose fanzine Future with You by @chaosquillcollection

I drew the background for the double page breaks but I managed to include all the zine merch into the scrapbook pages. These are my favourite page breaks I've made to date for sure.

I wanted the page breaks to look like Amy's journal with the contents being a calandar and the Future with You fanart being photographs.

Future with You: Tarot Reference

Tarot reference page I made for the FREE Amy Rose fanzine Future with You by @chaosquillcollection

I wanted to include a simplified version of tarot explincations in the official Fortune Card Deck in the zine so anyone could do a fortune card reading. I redrew all of the major arcana images for high quality versions, and did a simple colour map on the 4 suits from a high quality scan. So there's still value in getting the original cards (they're super cool)
