This is a continuation of the post yesterday about the move of the forum, but is relevant to everyone with an account on Arc. (Which will be most people playing STO)
The move of the forum means that all information on your Arc account is now shared with Vanillaforum, this includes e-mail address, name, location, gender and anything else you’ve shared in it. If you don’t want Vanillaforum to know this, you can either completely delete your account, but that would mean stop playing entirely as you need an account with Arc to launch the game, or change the information on your Arc account to gibberish as I have done.
For the latter go to http://www.arcgames.com/en/games and log in. Click on your username and then ‘My account’ in the drop down menu. You can now change your information.
