as of friday i hit $15/hr so now i can’t bitch anymore lol. however i still make less than library assistants at the public library (they make $15.30) so i still have that to complain about

Honestly right up until they explained the alphabetical thing my working theory was that the slugs "hunted" by the AI just walking people into them and that's why they ignored anyone who moved around them. Why waste energy on pursuit when you can just wait for someone to walk directly into your mouth instead?
