Demi was disappointed more or less in her close friend -- seeing Tay like this destroyed the woman. She dressed her daughter and picked her up putting her on her hip as she walked out the front door, a few texts from Alex were ignored because she was upset at the man. After settling her daughter in the car, Demi stopped and picked up some soup and ice cream hoping that she could get Tay to start feeling better. Demi had known that her friend wasn’t feeling well but with this on top of it, she needed someone. After getting to the house Demi let herself in and headed upstairs. “It’s just me, baby girl.” Demi called out as she reached the door, upon walking in she looked at the woman and her heart sank to her stomach. “Oh, sweetie.” she said setting Katrina on the bed and the bag on the floor, she walked over to the side of the bed and wrapped her arms around the woman, holding her for a moment the silence spoke no one had to say a word.
