I have a HUGE fossil and rock collection. It’s all found around Iowa. My hometown is Coralville, aptly named as it used to be a coral reef. There is also a quarry directly in Coralville, where most places get their gravel and such. So, I always have found fossils in my yard and in burger king parking lots (no joke). I recently moved, and left my fossil collection as it’s all stored in bags since I don’t have a display.
Well, my new town (25 min away) has fossils too. Local quarries and plants around. Im finding fossils right in my apartment parking lot. I’ve found literally bowls full of cool rocks and fossils in the past 3 days, and here are a few from me searching around for 10 minutes in the rain.
I have soooo many more that I wanna share but recently dropped em off at my parents for the time being. Can’t wait to get a display case!!!
