Confirmed female of my dream species! Insanely lucky to have found and gotten her. I lost 2 slings of this species and before I found this girl I bought another one to attempt to raise up a third. Slings are always a gamble in whether they’ll make it and whether you’ll get a male or a female - it’s never a guarantee.

The guy I bought this from initially bought 10 spiderlings and only 2 of them made it, so that speaks to their fragility at such a young age. It takes 7 years for this species to reach maturity. He already had an AF so he decided to let this one go (God knows why but it worked out well for me!)

I still can’t believe I got this girl but I’m so glad I did, she’s been named Blush🥰

Summary: 

When she woke up, she knew three things: First, that she wasn’t in her room. Second, that she wasn’t in her clothes. Three, she didn’t recognize the strange man leaning against the wall, watching her. Kira Ren isn’t Kira Ren. Her name is Rey.

Kira Ren doesn’t live on a farm with her husband, his brother, and his parents. She lives in a basement, in a remote house, with her captors.

Kira Ren doesn’t love her life and her family. She lives in hell.

One thing is true, though: Rey is married to Kylo Ren. And she can’t decide whether or not she hates him.

Why I love it:

This fic is very unique, well written, and full of angst. It deserves way more attention than what it is getting. While there are romantic moments, this fic is full of suspense and mystery. The writer sets little clues and red herrings in the plot that the reader has to piece together or if you have a good eye you can pick them out. That is one of my favourite parts of the story, it’s like putting pieces of a puzzle together. Is Kylo in on it? Is he a villainous character or a victim as well? There’s so much more to it but we just don’t know enough yet and the mystery plays out well. Kylo is much softer and gentler the normal – he is a gardener. Rey characterization is good. I am also very invested in the story as the writer is a friend and I am her beta. I only beta stories that I really find unique and can’t wait to read next so you should really check this story out :-).
