Ch-ch-changes

I’m moving to a new position. I won’t be working permanency/reunification anymore. I’m scared and not sure if this is a good idea and worried about losing my kids...

I’ll be going to Family Centered Services, which is like “try to keep them from being court involved”. It’s close to what I do now, just a little different.

Cool thing is, when I talked to my new supervisor and told her I was worried, she said that SEVEN people talked to her about the position, but I was the only one she extended n offer to. She said she likes my work, that I’m detailed oriented and wrote good reports and that she thinks I’m a good worker.

Didn’t get the promotion. I feel like it was a “going through the motions because we know who were giving it to” kinda thing. But now I have experience?

At risk placements all around

I’ve got a foster mom telling me I’m the worst worker she’s ever had and that I’m throwing her under the bus and hanging up on me.

I’ve also go C, pissed off and angry and scared of the kid. Pissed off he threw something away he shouldn’t, and didn’t wait the few minutes for her to tell him not to. Angry with how he’s been treating the cats, and scared he’s going to hurt them and/or us. I don’t think that’s what’s going to happen. But he behavior has to change, he cants keep kicking at them, punching at them, or laughing when he almost stabs C in the face. Somethings got to give, I just don’t want it to be us.

I am -not- going to buy all of you lunch! Things are already tight, and because of court taking forever I'm going to need to buy my kid dinner as well. I am so not buying his parents lunch!!
