                  "I'm yours ... I'm forever yours." It felt like she was lost in a trance. The words fell out of her mouth so easily: as though it had been as natural as breathing. Gabriella's gentle doe-eyes locked deeply into Lysander's own as she gazed lovingly up at him, refusing to tear her stare away from anything that wasn't the love of her life ... her soul mate. She stood up high upon her toes to press her lips deeply to his, a soft moan escaping her as she held him close, hands running along his neck to grip the back of his hair. "My heart ... my body ... my soul ..." Gabriella panted, breaking away only to utter two small words at a time before she claimed her lover's lips again, her breath hot against his icy flesh, "It all belongs to you."

Moments like this were so peaceful that for a while Gabriella often completely forgot that she was really within Volterra: away from her family and loved ones. It was perhaps, one of the many reasons, why she always craved his presence beside her. Being with Marcus made Gabriella feel like she was at home again ... all safe and sound and away from all the dangers of the Volterra walls.

It was a quiet night: she snuggled close into his body as they both lay on the bed on top of the covers. Not a sound echoed throughout the chambers except for Gabriella’s gentle breathing and steady heart. The coolness of Marcus' body aided her some relief from the rare warmness of the night: so much so that she'd practically half rolled right on top of him.

Gabriella murmured softly, her face buried into the crook of her lover's neck as sleep slowly started to take its hold over her. Oh, moments like this in Volterra really were peaceful ...

              "I won't be that old, Mum. Just another year older." Gabriella gave a funny look over to her mother as she laughed, her smile sweet as it always was. It was only a few more days now until Gabriella’s birthday finally arrived. It had always been a day of great celebration in the Cullen household: not from Gabriella’s choice but by Alice's excessive party planning. Even so, Alice always did such an amazing job that Gabriella never minded ... "Edward won't be too pleased to be the baby of the family when I finally turn nineteen ..."

A chill raced down Gabriella's spine. It wasn't a fearful response to Lysander as she stared wide-eyed up at him with her innocent gaze - her breath hitching in her throat - but rather, the blood that would be on his hands if he did do such a violent thing. "Don't hurt anyone, please. Not for me or for anyone." Gabriella pleaded sweetly, her voice soft and a little shaken as she tried to get such awful images out of her head. She had to reach up to cup her lover's face to help ground herself. "I don't want that kind of blood on your hands ..." Her thumbs stroked his cool cheeks softly, doe-eyes lingering into the depths of his red gaze. Oh, how she prayed she could persuade him from hurting anyone ... even if they did hurt her. "You don't deserve that."

                   "Of Volterra?" Gabriella repeatedly meekly, a bit taken aback as she stared with a widened gaze up at Lysander. In truth, she hadn't fully understood what he meant when he said such a thing ... but she could only think that he had meant Volterra. After all, what else could he have meant? There wasn't any other vampire royalty around ... She opened and closed her mouth repeatedly as she tried to speak: still stunned.

"I ... I can't be queen. I can't rule over people!" She gasped out, heart racing at such an idea, cheeks turning pink ... Oh, she could never imagine herself in a role like that. Who would even accept someone so weak like her as queen? "Besides ..." Gabriella whispered in a soft voice, as though afraid others would overhear, "I thought Aro would take his crown to the grave..."

                        "Mum, stop! You're embarrassing me!" Oh, her embarrassment was indeed great. Sweet Gabriella couldn't even show her face as she covered her head in her hands with a bright laugh: cheeks bright pink and huge grin that spread ear-to-ear. Of course, she wasn't the only student around who was felt as though they were being embarrassed by their happy parents. Many others around them seemed to share her mother's sheer happiness and joy: families and parents alike all celebrating as the school year finally graduated.

Oh, even Gabriella herself could feel that joy! She let out another giggle as she removed her hands from her face, still pink as ever. "How many of these graduations have you been to? I'm sure mines no different."

the mocking smirk on yennefers lips merely widened at verrics words and she glanced down at him, perking a brow. they had been sparring - as they often did, and she had managed to get him onto his back. using a little bit of magic, his wrists were bound with smoking manacles and pinned above his head. “ remind me to tell your brothers that you like to be bound and mounted. i’m sure they’ll get a kick out of it. ”

Such sweet words made Gabriella’s heart feel as though it was fluttering rapidly in her fragile chest. Oh, she melted in Marcus' arms: innocent doe-eyes lost deeply in his crimson gaze, unable to tear herself away even if she wanted to. How could she when the words he spoke and the way he looked at her felt as if he was connecting right with her very soul? She had never thought that she would fall in love with a vampire from the Volturi, and yet ... Gabriella could never imagine giving her heart to anyone else.

                    "You already do." Her words came like a soft whisper, full of vulnerability and heart. She beamed up at Marcus, so wide she smiled it produced a warm, pink flush to her cheeks. Gabriella's loving gaze never left his as she took hold of one of Marcus' hands, guiding it up towards her face to rest his palm against her cheek: hand still holding onto his. "When I'm with you ..." She paused, turning her head in for a moment to kiss his palm, "... I feel like the only girl in the whole world."
