"Ship your pants"
questions with answers
I'd rather not have my life recorded or preserved by any means. For me a tombstone is too much to ask for.
2. If you were a song, would you listen to yourself or let others sing you?
I listen to myself on a daily basis and it hurts my ears. If I'm a song, I'm out of tune. I don't even have relative pitch. I can't sing, and when the aesthetics of the intended melody aren't particularly pleasing on their own, it isn't important anyone else sing me.
3. Have you ever asked your mother her favorite flower? Would you give her one today?
I can't remember. Flowers are sweet, but they don't exclusively resemble love or affection. Flowers and gifts are an outlet. I'm sure I've said to my mom that I loved her. I'm sure I've said it other ways as well. Flowers are very upfront.
4. Would you ever rip your favorite book and cut out lines from it? Why not?
I don't carry favorite books. I carry favorite stories. You can mutilate books all you want, but you can't touch what touches me.
5. Do you watch the news? Which do you prefer, morning or evening news?
I don't watch the news. I catch tidbits. From day to day I can't handle how vague news channels are. I want more information than newscasts provide.
6. Can you make an airplane from a piece of paper? When was the last time you made one?
The last time I made an airplane it didn't fly. I guess you could say that means I don't know how to make a paper airplane.
7. What’s your favorite statement shirt?
Completely empty with a comfy fabric: that's the kind of statement I'd prefer from a shirt.
8. Would you like the sky to be red instead of blue?
The sky is red when it chooses to be. It's beautiful. I will leave the color of the sky to itself.
9. How do you manage to talk to people without freaking them out? Or you do freak them out?
I try to find a common ground. There's no need to force a topic. If there's not natural course of conversation, it's because there isn't an immediate need for words.
10. What word do you think of when you think of yourself?
I am not a word. I am a list of words. No one has time for those now.
