Favourite Foundations of 2022
Hi all,
This week I am posting Monday - Friday to show you all my favourite makeup products I have been loving in 2022. Today we are looking at my favourite foundations I have used the most in 2022. Compared to previous years my foundation taste has really changed this year. Instead of only wearing medium / full coverage foundations I've been leaning more towards the light / medium wave, enjoying a more natural face base. I think it's because my skincare has made a real difference this year so I'm more comfy wearing a thinner face base. Let's start our countdown (in particular order):
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation- This has been a staple in my makeup bag and personally I think this foundation made me appreciate a more glowy foundation. This foundation looks so luminous on the skin and yet gives me a gorgeous medium coverage. The shade Oslo is my perfect colour and pretty soon I'm going to need a new bottle. The only downside with this foundation is it does not come with a pump so you need to buy one. Other than that I adore it.
Yves Saint Laurent Nu Bare Look Skin Tint - This skin tint has been a new discovery for me this year because it is by far the most sheer coverage out of my countdown and yet one of my favourites I've used this year. This product can be used as a tinted moisturiser or as a buildable lightweight foundation. This skin tint gives my skin a natural dewy finish that looks so natural it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup but it evens out complexion! So for the people out there who don't like heavy duty makeup this is for you!
Makeup Revolution IRL FIlter Longwear Foundation - This foundation is my favourite medium to full coverage foundation I have used this year. This foundation has a soft focus breathable matte formula that is oil free, shine free, crease proof, lifeproof and smudgeproof whilst providing 16 hours wear time from day to night. It is crazy pigmented and like a filter leaves your skin looking smooth all day. I adore this foundation and surprisingly used it more than my Airbrush Flawless foundation which was a shock to me too.
Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation - This is a foundation I've had for a long time but started wearing more this year when I became more obsessed with lighter coverage products. This foundation is a light to medium coverage that is designed to smooth, hydrate, illuminate and minimise pores. I adore using this foundation when I want something with more coverage from YSL skin tint but still leaves your skin with a natural glowy finish.
