Favourite cream products of 2022

This week I am posting Monday - Friday to show you all my favourite makeup products I have been loving in 2022. Today we are looking at my favourite cream makeup products I have used the most in 2022. 2022 was the year of cream products for me, loving a more natural facebase these products quickly became favourites. Let's start out countdown :

SHEGLAM Sun Sculpt Liquid Contour - I originally bought this product because at the time I couldn't find the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand and some Tik Tok videos suggested this as a dupe. The colour range is great and I found the perfect cool toned contour shade. Blends like a dream and gives me cheekbones for days! The packaging is so cute and you can use the sponge applicator to dot exactly where you want product.

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush - I feel like this product was expected in this countdown. This is by far the most pigmented cream / liquid blush I have ever used. A little goes a long way and the formula blends like a dream into your face base without losing product. I love these blushes and have definitely picked up more shades this year.

R.E.M Beauty Eclipse Blush & Lip Stick - This year I have really loved trying out more R.E.M products now they are available in the UK! The Eclipse Blush stick is my new favourite stick blush formula, it blends like a dream and gives you a natural soft wash of colour! Perfect if you want a soft wash of colour or you want a formula you can build up pigmentation.

Charlotte Tilbury Pinkgasm Beauty Light Wand - This product was the definition of viral product this year. This glowy pink liquid blush was wanted by everyone, luckily I bought it last year so I had it in my collection already. I love the finish this beauty wand has on my skin, it gives my skin a gorgeous glow and I love the balance of highlight and blush this formula has mixed together. We all know I adore Charlotte Tilbury as a brand so of course something would be in this countdown.

Kylie Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Balm - Lastly we have Kylie's cream blush, this blush surprised me the most because I didn't expect it to be as pigmented as it is. I apply this blush with my fingers and like the others mentioned, it also blends like a dream and gives me the perfect flush of colour. Like Rare Beauty this blush is really pigmented so again a little goes a long way!

Favourite lip products of 2022

This week I have been posting Monday - Friday to show you all my favourite makeup products I have been loving in 2022. Today we are looking at my favourite lip products I have used the most in 2022. Looking at my selection there is a clear theme going this year but I think since I’ve been doing more brighter eye looks I’ve been sticking to nude / light lipstick tones. Let's start our last 2022 favourites countdown:

Revolution Pro Eternal Roe Lip Oil - Rosy: I was really late to the game when everyone was loving lip oils and in September I decided to give in. Originally I wanted to try the Kylie Cosmetics one but was recommended the Revolution dupe instead. I love this lip oil, I love how hydrated and glossy it leaves my lips. I got the shade Rosy which has a little hint of pink so it's very subtle but enough that you can see someone is wearing something. Highly recommend if you aren't a lipstick fan.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick - Pillow Talk: This lipstick has been in my favourites for literally years now. It is my perfect pink nude lipstick and I adore it. I have dedicated blog posts about this lipstick because I truly adore it that much.

LUSH Lip Scrub - Bubble Gum: If you are looking for a lip care product then a lip scrub is essential. It is a product that scrubs your lips so when you apply a lip product after, it goes on smoothly and your lips look smooth. The LUSH ones are my favourite because they smell the best and you can even lick off the scrub (if you're into that kinda thing).

LUSH Lip Jelly - Snow Fairy: First off I am so annoyed this product is limited edition because I think I'm going to bulk buy the remaining stock. This Lip jelly is like a traditional lip balm but even more hydrating and soft on the lips. I have used this literally everyday since september when I got it in a birthday set. It feels amazing on the lips and it's the perfect handbag size so it goes everywhere with me.

NARS Powermatte Lipstick - Sweet Disposition: Lastly we have a recent addition to my makeup collection but a lipstick I have used a lot since purchasing. I love this new formula because it is the most comfortable, matte, long lasting lipstick I have worn in a while. This shade specifically I have worn on days where I want a soft pink colour on my lips. I'm still surprised how long lasting this formula is which is why it is my go when I'm at work.

Favourite eyeshadow palettes of 2022

This week I am posting Monday - Friday to show you all my favourite makeup products I have been loving in 2022. Today we are looking at my favourite eyeshadow palettes I have used the most in 2022. This year has really been a year of colour for me. I have loved creating more bolder, brighter eye looks and don't worry it's something I'll be carrying on next year. Let's start our countdown:

BY BEAUTY BAY Midnight palette 16 Colour Palette - When I bought this palette I was starting to play around with dark blue shadows and this palette was a dream for me. It has a gorgeous range of purple and blues with beautiful pigmented shadows. When Midnights by Taylor Swift came out I had to use this palette for so many more makeup looks. Love Beauty Bay palettes because they are crazy pigmented and really long lasting.

Huda Beauty Rose Quartz Eyeshadow Palette - This was a palette I bought at the beginning of this year and it is a cool toned dream! This year I have loved playing around with more grey toned shadows to create soft Smokey looks and this colour story is stunning. Huda Beauty palettes are known for being pigmented and blending beautifully, this is probably the most expensive palette o bought this year but 100% worth it!

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette Pillow Talk Dreams - This palette is a party in a palette for sure. If you love the original Pillow Talk palette you will love this, it’s a more deeper toned colour story compared to the original but I think I prefer this more. The shimmers are amazingly pigmented and make your eyes look like diamonds in the light. Obsessed and easily my most used CT palette this year without a doubt!

Beetlejuice X Revolution Its Showtime Shadow Palette - Now we have my favourite palette from Halloween season! Revolution brought out so many collections for Halloween this year but Beetlejuice was my favourite. I adore the movie so when I saw the palette I lost my mind and ordered it straight away. The colours are so vibrant and I created some eye looks with this palette I am so happy with! Highly recommend if you can still get your hands on this palette.

P.Louise Love Tapes Eyeshadow Palette - Wedding Wish - This palette is one from a new brand I discovered this year. Over the last 5-6 months I purchased a few P.Louise palettes and I love their shimmer formula. Again colours are so pigmented and personally I love the love tapes collections because they are the perfect colour stories for everyday looks or especial occasions. Highly recommend checking out and shopping through TikTok because they can be cheaper!

Favourite Foundations of 2022

This week I am posting Monday - Friday to show you all my favourite makeup products I have been loving in 2022. Today we are looking at my favourite foundations I have used the most in 2022. Compared to previous years my foundation taste has really changed this year. Instead of only wearing medium / full coverage foundations I've been leaning more towards the light / medium wave, enjoying a more natural face base. I think it's because my skincare has made a real difference this year so I'm more comfy wearing a thinner face base. Let's start our countdown (in particular order):

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation- This has been a staple in my makeup bag and personally I think this foundation made me appreciate a more glowy foundation. This foundation looks so luminous on the skin and yet gives me a gorgeous medium coverage. The shade Oslo is my perfect colour and pretty soon I'm going to need a new bottle. The only downside with this foundation is it does not come with a pump so you need to buy one. Other than that I adore it.

Yves Saint Laurent Nu Bare Look Skin Tint - This skin tint has been a new discovery for me this year because it is by far the most sheer coverage out of my countdown and yet one of my favourites I've used this year. This product can be used as a tinted moisturiser or as a buildable lightweight foundation. This skin tint gives my skin a natural dewy finish that looks so natural it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup but it evens out complexion! So for the people out there who don't like heavy duty makeup this is for you!

Makeup Revolution IRL FIlter Longwear Foundation - This foundation is my favourite medium to full coverage foundation I have used this year. This foundation has a soft focus breathable matte formula that is oil free, shine free, crease proof, lifeproof and smudgeproof whilst providing 16 hours wear time from day to night. It is crazy pigmented and like a filter leaves your skin looking smooth all day. I adore this foundation and surprisingly used it more than my Airbrush Flawless foundation which was a shock to me too.

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation - This is a foundation I've had for a long time but started wearing more this year when I became more obsessed with lighter coverage products. This foundation is a light to medium coverage that is designed to smooth, hydrate, illuminate and minimise pores. I adore using this foundation when I want something with more coverage from YSL skin tint but still leaves your skin with a natural glowy finish.
