Sick yesterday, managed to get enough energy to get the 25 minutes in today. Each of the sessions lately has been between 20-25 minutes, just perfect to start getting warmed up.
I’m noticing that I make my heads too big, so I need to work on that. I think it’s because I focus on the heads and then don’t spend as much time with the rest of the body.

Just in case you want to play against yourself and win.
Finished cardboard project! The armor of the imagination, the queen of being a kid--I am a Jim Henson princess. Or at least I feel like one.
I am actually so happy with how this turned out. It was so much fun putting together the final product.
So I've been trying to store this out of the way of the new Foundations class in the wood shop now and any others who might need the storage I was using. So I stored it on the floor in a corner and was apprehensive about it but I didn't want to be in the way.
It's safe to say I'm back on the safer shelving. I'm sure it was an accident however it happened, and I'm not upset (initially I was of course, but it was a fragile joint and I'm aware of that) but somehow the piece was jolted and a segment popped off.
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do, what was best to do, and then to do it, but it happened and things must move forward. I decided to take the section of wood between the hexagon and the fuller piece off completely (I hid some of the screws so well that it took a while). The hexagon will float with the smaller ones.
Step one should not be called step one because it happens way too many times to be considered one. No.
This was my first week in foundations 2 and I have to say I am really enjoying it. My Chef is a skinny english man with a great sense of humor.
I'm seriously going to enjoy these next 6 weeks, making soups and stuff
