This is a big Chablis Premier Cru from Fourchaume and very delicious.
La Chablisienne is a large co-operative in the Chablis region of France. It was formed in 1923 in response to an uncertain economy. I had an opportunity to try their 2016 Chablis Premier Cru from Fourchaume today for #ChablisClimats. The wine pours a pale yellow. It is elegant and fresh, with inviting notes of spring blossom, orchard and yellow-fleshed fruit—all wrapped in a lovely texture, with firm, mineral-tinged acidity providing lift.
