KID ASTRAY
[fap_track id="1849" layout="interactive-image" enqueue="no" auto_enqueue="no"]
Sounds like: The Colourist, Parade of Lights, Fitness Club Fiasco
| Five tall, skinny, white guys and a below average height Chinese chick from Oslo, Norway are the parts that make up Kid Astray. Benjamin, Elizabeth, Even, Alex, Håkon, and Jakob have been making catchy electro pop songs since 2010 (they met in school), releasing two EPs and a bunch of singles for our ears to enjoy. Much like the practise with synthpop beats, Kid Astray's music has been remixed from here to the moon and back and a quick gulp of their soundcloud will leave an aftertaste that'll make you keep coming back for more. Featured in Fourculture's recent issue, the band talked life, music, and their favourite things (spoiler: Oxygen trumps the list). With their recent opening for Imagine Dragons, you know Kid Astray is going to make it big! So why not be the first one of your friends to get all their music? Look out for a full length studio album to drop this year! Sidenote: The band has a Meet Kid Astray series on YouTube which really breaks the interpersonal barriers between artists and fans down. A must watch! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHMZJUCgyEY
My favorite place to be is kneeling before a nice thick microphone telling you how it is.
My interview with Yoshiki is in the latest issue of Fourculture Magazine. The man is an international rockstar, world-renowned classical pianist, producer, composer, businessman, & philanthropist. You can read all about him here: http://issuu.com/fourculture/docs/fourculture_issue_15/46
