Tumblr really is an experience.
One day you see a posts that is like "reblog with what you think the person you reblogged this from looks like" and you look at the icon and the name go "I have no idea who you are because I don't even know why or when I followed you. Heck, it might have been a mistake, but I still do so that seems fine"
and then you get another note from a mutual and suddenly you wonder "Why do I never see posts from you, random online friend?" and you realise you don't follow? But did you never follow them to begin with or did you unfollow them by mistake or thanks to a bug? Time to follow now I guess?
And then there is the next post with a new meme and a new show and within the next couple of days and weeks you'll learn so much about both and suddenly you're in the loop again without even having to bother google, while the next meme already lurks around the corner and the show gets cancelled because apparently it's problematic?
But yeah, most don't care and move on and still enjoy their shows and blorbos and reblog some posts about all kinds of things and wonder if now people really return from twitter and if it will be good or bad.
To another day on the worst hellhole website (affectionate) of the world wide web. Cheers to tumblr, I guess.
