If your dog has a run-in with some fox poo, then tomato ketchup is the answer. The smell is absolutely awful, like AWFUL, but if you use tomato ketchup as shampoo it will neutralise the smell. 

I know, this is rather strange, but this was gained knowledge after the puppy decided fox poo was fun for a moment or two.
