If I had a nickel for everytime I shipped a feral British detective who should never hold a knife and his inhuman, deep-voiced... companion... who tries in vain to stop the other from making stupid decisions, whose relationship constantly bounces between "on the cusp of divorce/ are bitterly divorced" and "oh my god get a room"...

I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
