Lucifer V.S The Flash
An Informal Analysis on why I watch both of them and what I do not like.
For starters, I loved the first season of the flash. However, later seasons became somewhat hard for me to watch. Someone stated that character development was better in the Flash, but personally, I disagree. Iris’s character was well enough in the first season, but once she got together with Barry, struggled to fit into their new life, and I felt like the writers didn’t know how to write their relationship. Most of the character’s big revelations are reserved for Barry, and a lot of the other characters are left on the sidelines, as they do have a big cast.
Lucifer’s character development encompasses all of the characters with meaningful revelations of belonging, love, and fate. This appeals to me as it can focus on the human aspects of feeling and emotions. The characters seem real and complex, dealing with all of the issues that they face.
Onto plot; Again, season 2 sort of was the same plot as season 1 of the flash, although it was still enjoyable. But then season three revolved around Iris, which with the character development, didn’t tie in well for me. Both shows at times could be boring, but The Flash’s plot can be confusing at times due to time travel. I also did not like the emphasis on Lucifer’s mother in that season either.
The writing; Lucifer has always had humor in it, and the flash tried to be humorous in the fourth season, and I think that they succeeded, although their humor is very different. Lucifer is good at writing the character development, while they both have their signature quirky character (cisco and Ella).
Lucifer does not use CGI as much as the flash, so I’d agree that The Flash has better visuals, although The Flash’s sets are not as diverse as Lucifers, and the directing is pretty good on both of them.
Finally, I think that both castings do well at being diverse and being good actors and actresses.
Lucifer attracts my need for the characters feelings and motivations to be addressed and met, and The Flash is good for heart-beating fights and Big Bads to take down. While both of them are good, I feel like Lucifer excels at writing realistic characters, but The Flash’s Reverse Flash will be an iconic villain. Both are good shows, although I feel like The Flash could use a little work, I still love it and continue to watch it.
PEOPLE! THE ORVILLE IS IN THIS PROMO SEVERAL TIMES. While this is not an official announcement that we get season 3, it's the first sign of real hope!

Ads We Love: The Passage, Fox’s New Vampire TV Show Erupts in Flames When the Sun Rises
As anyone who is very familiar with vampire myths and stories knows that vampires are very vulnerable to sunshine. From almost every vampire story, TV show, movie or book (except Twilight), we know that vampires erupt in flames when they come in contact with sunshine. Fox decided to steal a page out of vampire myths to promote its latest TV shows about vampires. The TV show is called The Passage and the posters promoting the TV show turns to ash when it comes in contact with sunshine.
About the Passage TV Show Posters
To create this brilliant poster for the Passage TV show, Fox worked with agency BETC/Havas. They both created the posters which go up in flames when exposed to sunlight just like the vampires in the posters. They distributed posters for the Passage TV show on the Brazilian streets of São Paulo. The posters were created with a coat of flammable paint which is made with potassium permanganate and sulfuric acid. At night, the faces of vampires stare at passersby blankly and with a menacing look. But in the morning when the sunrise, they spontaneously burst out in flames with a streak of fire. On each of the poster, there’s a Portuguese text that says “Ele não vai sobreviver ao amanhecer. This means “He will not survive the dawn.” The Passage posters are enclosed in glass boxes to protect the surrounding area.

BETC/Havas Speak on the Passage TV Show Posters
The Executive creative director at BETC/ Havas Andrea Siqueria spoke about the posters. He stated that the vampire posters combined storytelling with the innovative use of tech in outdoor media. He explained that the poster isn’t simply positioned outdoors but it actually used the outdoor environment to spread its message.
