Another workshop announcement 😃 I'm teaching a second seminar at The Chicago Pen Show this year on Saturday, May 5th from 9-10am. "Fountain Pens & Pointed Pen Calligraphy" is intended for fountain pen enthusiasts and beginners looking to expand what they can do with their favorite writing implements. I'll dig into what kinds of scripts are best suited for firm, semi-flex and full flex nibs, how to properly hold and write with flex nibs, and how to generally improve your calligraphy when writing with a fountain pen. It should be a fun workshop for anyone who gets a kick out of playing around with pens ✒️💖. • For all you #fountainpen nerds out there, I made up this little flyer using a vintage #ParkerVac with a semi-flex fine nib dipped in @HerbinInks #StormyGray ink (looove that gray and gold combo). The arched sub-header line was done with a #PilotCustom74 fitted with an EF nib and filled with @OrganicsStudio Willow Green.
