Rinharu Week - Day 1: Water (Feelings)
Do you remember the freestyle race we swam during that tournament this spring? When we tied and set a new tournament record together? ...I was testing you then. I wanted to see if that was really the farthest you could go. And when I sensed you coming up from behind me, I knew for sure. That you were definitely going to enter the same world as me. Hey, Haru, during that race didn’t you feel something, too?
What about you, Haru? Do you want to get a gold medal, too?... You’d be able to compete against the fastest people in the world! Doesn’t imagining it make you feel excited? We might not know what the future will bring but we can practice a lot!
As a friend, I’m also worried about you, who hasn’t even prepared a suit for his university entrance ceremony. Alright, how about we look for one now?
Anyway, I’ll bring you souvenirs again when I’m back next. I’m putting those figurines you sent me before on display at my new apartment as well. Right...you mean those tournament mascots I’m not sure why I bought? I look forward to your next souvenirs, too. Why do you have to sound so condescending?
